Fibromyalgia manifests as chronic pain in muscles and soft tissues surrounding the joints.  It is believed to be a stress-related autoimmune disorder.  Primary focus with fibromyalgia should be to heal the leaky gut and bring stomach acid and thyroid levels back to normal.  Fibromyalgia is also stress related, and for that reason a broad-spectrum vitamin-mineral supplement is recommended.  Fish oils, glucosamine, chondroitin and proanthocyanidins can reduce tissue inflammation.  [See also “Autoimmunity”.]
