Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disease of the central nervous system marked by intermittent damage to the myelin sheath that covers nerve cell axons. Visual changes and muscular weakness occur often. As the disease progresses, different nerves may be affected at different times. It is an autoimmune disorder.
Primary emphasis should be on repairing the leaking gut and restoring stomach acid and thyroid levels. Flaxseed oil may also be of benefit. [See also “Autoimmunity”.]
