Sleep Disturbances

Sleep disturbances include difficulty in falling asleep, waking up in the night and not being able to get back to sleep (insomnia), not being able to sleep soundly enough or long enough, and not feeling rested when you awaken in the morning.  Such disturbances can be replaced with more natural healthful sleeping patterns by taking herbal relaxants (e.g., St. John’s wort, valerian, hops, chamomile, passion flower) about 15 minutes before bedtime and/or if awakened during the night.  A homeopathic agent taken during the day calms mind and body, thus facilitating natural sleep at night.  [See also “Insomnia”.]
